The Clubs APR training evening started in ernest this week with a healthy number of Members turning out for 4 laps of our Twechar Course. 4 loops of the 5.5 mile circuit saw the scratch group average over 23mph and Group 2 touching 21mph ave’ in challenging conditions. The course itself has only one left junction turn onto main road with the only other two left turns on the circuit clear of any traffic, a perfect mix of undulating fast road and some hard going Belgian ‘cobble’…well, not exactly, more like East Dunbartonshire dodgy road patching but it won’t deter our Members who are loving the rumble already. 😉
